Good Lord it's been a long time since I updated...ya'll must have thought that I dropped off the face of the earth...HAHA

now for an update:

1. I AM OFFICIALLY DIVORCED...as of Aug.12

2. hopefully in 9 days I will no longer be a resident of NJ...I am moving to NC if everything works out

3. my ex finally came to see the girls....2 weeks ago

4. he also remarried on Sunday...thank God

not much else going on ....it was a hot, lazy summer

BOY IS IT HOT!!!!! 90 DEGREES!!!!!!

TODAY WAS YET ANOTHER OF MY EX'S VISITS THAT HE DIDN'T SHOW UP FOR. THAT MAKES 5 IN A ROW!!!!

MY DIVORCE WAS GOING GREAT EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT THE SHERIFF'S OFFICER COULDN'T FIND HIM TO SERVE THE PAPERS. NOW I HAVE TO HAVE THEM RESERVED IN C\O HIS MOM. WHAT A PAIN!!! I JUST WANT A DIVORCE SO THAT I CAN GET ON WITH MY LIFE.

ON A LIGHTER NOTE: I HEARD FROM AN OLD FRIEND FROM LIKE 20 YEARS AGO. IT WAS SO NICE TO HEAR FROM HIM AND KNOW THAT HE IS DOING WELL.

WELL I GUESS IT'S BACK TO WORK FOR ME. I AM DOING A LITTLE SPRING CLEANING. LAST PROJECT WAS THE BACK YARD. THIS ONE IS THE BASEMENT. I GOTTA GET IT DONE BY TOMORROW NIGHT WHEN THE TRASH GOES OUT. WHAT FUN!!!!!!

wow!!!!..it's really been awhile since I last posted. now for an update:

things are moving right along with the divorce. the judge signed the papers, so the whole thing is free. I just got back from the sherriff's office a little while ago. I went the other day and they told me that I had to have a summons as well as the papers to have him served. so I did some web surfing and found a free sample summons and typed it up. wwhen I went back today everything was in order,so now he will be served with the papers. now the ball is in his court. he has to either enter an appearance or an answer to the complaint in 35 days from the date that he is served. we'll see what happens. if he doesn't do either in the 35 day time frame then an order of default will be entered. that's about all that is going on right now. it's just a waiting game now.

I KNOW THAT I POSTED THIS BEFORE...BUT I AM REALLY TRYING TO GET THE WORD OUT.

I HAVE STARTED A PETITION FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A VICTIM TO SIGN IT. THE ONLY REQUIREMENTS ARE...YOU HAVE TO BE 18 AND A US CITIZEN. PLEASE CHECK IT OUT, SIGN IT AND PASS IT ON TO YOUR FRIENDS AND AQUAINTENCES.

PETITION FOR HELP FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

well some of the wait is over....the judge signed the paper waiving the divorce fee...YAY!!!! I called this afternoon and the woman said that I will have a docket# tomorrow. I still don't know if he is gonna try to fight for joint custody or not....and that sucks. seriously though...with the restraining order and his history I don't think that he'll get it....I mean I already have sole custody with the restraining order..after we split the 3rd and final time he didn't even see the girls for almost a year and then he had 6 months of supervised visitation and finally bi- weekly. the part of this that bothers me (and I think that I'm gonna make some phone calls tomorrow) is that the visits are supposed to be at his mom's house...and he just takes them where ever he wants without my knowledge or permission...like to the Philadelphia Zoo. HELLO...we are in Jersey...so it initially comes down to the fact that he took them across state lines...my question..is this a violation or not???? I guess I'll find out tomorrow.....

waiting again....it seems that it is all I every do anymore. I took my divorce papers in yesterday, filled out the paper, now I am waiting to see if the judge approves it and whether or not my papers will be filed soon. I really hope that the judge approves it...I just don't have $250 laying around to file it. With 4 kids and my niece and nephew it would take me a long time to save up an extra $250. So I'm just waiting and praying....

road blocks were not constructed today!!!! he didn't even show up to pick up the girls. they were ready by 1:30 and we sat out on the porch and waited..and waited...and waited some more. i had to walk up to the store..so we waited until 2:40...and he still didn't show. I sure hope that he's not planning on trying to take them next weekend...because they're not going. today was his visit and then not again until easter...it's not my fault that he didn't come and get them.

 

it's late and i'm tired....but i'm reveling in the peace and quiet.

everything is going as planned....almost done typing up the papers, going to file them monday morning...i guess bob may try to through a couple of road blocks up tomorrow when he comes to get the girls...but oh well....nothing is going to stop me. his visits are every other sunday from 1:30-6:00....he better not get here any earlier...if he does i'll just tell him to come back at 1:30. he may also try to come pick them up by himself...in which case they aren't going anywhere....because he has no licence. well i guess we'll see what tomorrow brings. oh wait....he's not even allowed to come to my door...visits are curbside pick-up and drop-off...if he comes to the door and even tries to talk to me it is a restraining order violation. sounds like the dumb behind twit better think before he acts for once.
